The estates behind the prizes

Every qualifying bottle comes from one of two estates: one in Franschhoek, South Africa, and one in Sussex, England.

A centuries-old wine estate in the Franschhoek winelands, with farm-style accommodation in transformed historic buildings.

The land was once part of a property granted to French Huguenot farmers in 1694.
By the 1830s it belonged to Paulina Pepler, one of South Africa’s first female landowners.
Wine Tasting Centre, restaurant, farm stay and a padel club among the vines.
Wines made under three labels: Regna Loca, Foundation Stone and Rickety Bridge.

A trip for two to Rickety Bridge in Franschhoek, South Africa, to be taken between 1 March 2028 and 30 November 2028. Prize includes economy flights, a three-night bed and breakfast stay at Rickety Bridge, a complimentary vineyard and winery tour, lunch and use of the Rickety Bridge padel courts (subject to final confirmation).
2nd Prize
Lunch for two at Artelium
Lunch for two at Artelium Wine Estate, Streat, East Sussex, including a wine tasting and estate tour.
3rd Prize
A mixed case of six bottles
A mixed case of wine containing six bottles from Rickety Bridge and Artelium.

The Prize

A trip to Rickety Bridge in Franschhoek, South Africa, for a three-night stay for two people, to be taken between 1 March 2028 and 30 November 2028.

The prize includes

Return flights for two to Cape Town (economy class flights)
Three nights' accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis
A complimentary vineyard and winery tour & wine tasting at wine tasting centre
One meal at the estate, included as part of the prize (lunch)
Use of the estate's padel courts

What's not included

Transfers between the airport, Franschhoek and Rickety Bridge
Meals other than the one included estate meal
Any other personal expenses incurred during the trip
Travel insurances are not covered

Winners are responsible for arranging their own transfers and covering additional costs not listed above.
